Derby

A Derby is a model with open lacing whose side parts are stitched on the upper leather.  The front part  seamlessly moves  into the tongue. The origin of this model  is attributable to a shoe maker from  the english small city Derby.  He built them on request of horse riders, as they wanted to have a  lacing shoe with an easy instep. In consequence he invented the open lacing shoe.

The Derby is optimal in use for wide feets with a high Instep.  Outside stitchings and decoration elements soften the robust character of the shoe.
